Thursday, January 14. (Day 86.)

Reason 86: People how forgotten how to walk in the hallway like a normal person over break. They are all so rude rude rude. I probably ran straight into at least ten people today because they kept stopping or just not giving me room to walk past them at all.

Today was okay. I can’t believe it was a two-hour delayed day, though. It felt like a real day. I have a feeling tomorrow isn’t going to be quite so awesome. But anyways, back to my school day. It was actually really good, when I think about it. A good start back, anyways.

In math we got a new seating chart. I’m sitting next to Morgan who I sort of know but am still awkward around. Gates is too far away to whisper to, but we still mouth words at each other across the room and give each other these looks when someone does something weird or something. The class was really fast, and we only had about twelve problems for homework. I have a quiz tomorrow, but I’m not too worried. Spanish was Spanish, as always. We reviewed the vocabulary, did partner exercises, and then got book work for homework. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this already, but I’m starting to really like Mrs. Bottoms. It took a while to get warmed up to her, but now she’s one of my favorite teachers. As for History, you know Coach T. We took a quiz (Bleh, I missed two) and then he lectured lectured lectured until seminar. In seminar I worked on my vocabulary worksheet and DBI.

Lunch was okay. I’m entertaining the idea of eating upstairs again. I don’t know. I think I’ve wore my welcome out in the Newspaper Room. Er, well, I’ve just worn my welcome out in certain people’s lives completely, I’m starting to think.

In English we took a quiz over Objective Case Pronouns that I totally bombed. I sort of hadn’t looked at the material in a week. But she assigned like ten thousand worksheets, and now I understand it. After we took a quiz over it. Isn’t that grand? IIn Physics we had to do some lab online, and it was nice because Judd was actually a good help. He had it under control as I rushed to finish the homework I’d forgotten that was due before the end of class. I still need to finish the notes for that class, but I’m going to do it tomorrow in math. Then there was band, during which I got yelled at by Michael for something I didn’t do. But we didn’t even have actual class in there, after he yelled, me, Gates, and Meg just sat around and talked. It was fun.

So, that was my school day. It was pretty nice to be back.
