Tuesday, December 15. (Day 80.)

Reason 80: Picky English teachers. It’s BS when you get a seventy-five on an assignment in which you had to write vocabulary sentences, simply because you didn’t use enough context clues.

Today was okay. It was kinda slow, because we pretty much didn’t really do anything in most of my classes. In math I worked on the review and Gates drew me a bunch of pictures (which got the song “Lucky” in my head…). Then in Spanish we did- what do you know- another review sheet. Same goes for History, in which we had a sub. I was tired of my class being immature and loud and annoying, so at the start of seminar I just left and went downstairs.

I took the English exam, which was actually pretty easy aside from four or five on the part of the text where we had to tell her who said the quotes listed. Besides that, I’m guessing I did pretty good. In Physics we had a sub and basically just did a ton of busy work. And then in band, we had to play the music we transposed, which was- needless to say- a huge fail. I ended up transposing during the first half of class. And then I didn’t even have to play with my group at all, but I checked Power School, and I still got a 100 as the test grade for it…

Nothing very major happened today. I got a lot of either “Awesome poncho!” or “You look like a dumbass!” today. (The latter from Michael like 5743847 times.) Aside from that, like I said, there was nothing major. Nothing bad or good. It was a pretty boring day.

I’d say the semester is closing up pretty well. I have straight As right now, and I’m hoping I won’t mess that up with the exams and everything.
