Thursday, November 19. (Day 64.)
Reason 64: Coach Trentham is a dick who doesn’t give me new “interactive notes” or whatever when I spill water all over mine.
So, today wasn’t the best, but it didn’t suck or anything. I’d say it was okay, but I’m so tired of only describing my days as that. I really need a thesaurus or something.
But anyways, in math class today we learned about finding the Greatest Common Factor in algebraic equations, and I’ve learned it’s a whole lot easier to text in my new seat, even if I can’t pass notes anymore. I have a Spanish quiz tomorrow that I need to actually learn the vocabulary words for, but I know I won’t until I hurriedly try to memorize them during math class. I know it isn’t going to be the smartest move, since I need to pull my grade up, but whatever. I can’t really remember what we did in History today, aside from the fact I had to completely copy the interactive notes on a piece of notebook paper, since I spilled water all over my copy.
I have to make up an assignment that I’ve got a zero on for English, which explains why my grade is so low. I’m already working on getting it back up. I’m pretty sure I made good grades on the quizzes we took today (I know for a fact I got a 100 on one of them), and I redid the Edgar Allen Poe Death Theory deal, so that I’d actually get credit. Also, Ms. Payne has offered ANOTHER form of extra credit. Anybody who does a video project on Great Expectations will get extra credit. Anybody wanna help me? Haha. I’d seriously love you forever. You should tell me if you are at all able to.
Anyways, I think I might have made an actual okay grade on the Physics test I took yesterday, and Ms. Haggard was weirdly nice today. Band was pretty boring, as it usually is, and I used most of the time attempting to finish my homework.
Aside from all of that, not really a lot happened.
Oh, and I know I might get shot over this- Lord knows no one’s allowed to have an opinion- but I’m actually sort of liking Great Expectations. As long as you’re in the reading mood, it’s actually not that bad, at all. I managed to get into it tonight, and Charles Dickens has a way with words (even if it’s all very confusing and drawn-out). So maybe this book won’t be as bad as I originally thought.
