Thursday, December 17. (Day 82.)
Reason 82: When you have free time to kill in exams, you end up getting yelled at for amusing yourself with play dough. Well, whatever.
Ironically, the worst grade I managed to get on an exam was in band. (So far, anyways. Who knows what my Physics grade is.) I got a 94 on the Algebra exam, a (very disappointing) 89 on the Spanish, a 97 on my History one (wtf? How does that even happen?), a 99 on...
Wednesday, December 16. (Day 81).
Reason 81: Band exams will surprise you with how difficult they are.
Today was okay. I loved English this morning. I like that classroom in the morning. The sun coming in makes it look very pretty, and it was just a nice setting. I read for the first thirty minutes, then dedicated the last part to writing people their letters. I’ve still got a lot to go. On a side note, I got a ninety six...
Tuesday, December 15. (Day 80.)
Reason 80: Picky English teachers. It’s BS when you get a seventy-five on an assignment in which you had to write vocabulary sentences, simply because you didn’t use enough context clues.
Today was okay. It was kinda slow, because we pretty much didn’t really do anything in most of my classes. In math I worked on the review and Gates drew me a bunch of pictures (which got the...
Monday, December 14. (Day 79).
I’m going to give Monday a reason even though I didn’t go, because I want the day to match the reason number.
Reason 79: If you’re not there for a day, you risk people talking about you like they know the whole story- when they don’t. (So, in short, people make high school suck pretty hard.)
Tuesday, December 8 - Friday, December 11. (Days...
Man, I keep getting so behind on this. But I’m going to attempt to keep up with it. I’m going to make a collective post for last week, and I promise I’ll get better about it after break.
Reason 75: Having to stay up until two in the morning to get through 30+ chapters of Great Expectations study guide work.
Reason 76: English teachers lie. They will always assign an essay over...
Monday, December 7. (Day 74).
Reason 74: All the work gets pretty overwhelming. Especially when you’re a procrastinator and end up putting everything off until the last possible week…
Today was pretty okay. In math, I rushed to finish History homework. But now I have this huge review assignment, because I wasn’t able to do it in class. Spanish was actually fun today, but I can’t remember why. In...
Friday, December 5. (Day 72).
(Ugh. I’m so forgetful when it comes to this).
Reason 72: The week drags by slowly until I actually need time to finish things up. Then, suddenly everything zooms by, making it impossible to get done. In fact, this applies to the entire nine weeks as a whole…
I don’t really remember what happened during school, I just know after school was a blast.
Thursday, December 3. (Day 71.)
Reason 71: Apparently it’s just extremely horrid to format math problems in a way your teacher doesn’t like. And instead of just tell you this, it’s necessary she give you a fifty on a quiz that you got all the answers right on…
Today was very good. There isn’t a reason, it just was. Those are always the good days.
I’m too tired to do any of this massive...
Tuesday, November 30 - Wednesday, December 2....
Okay, so I’m sorry I got so ridiculously behind on this. That’s high school for you. I got wrapped up in the hectic schedule of this week. So, I’m going to just combine all of this into one post and be short about it.
Reason 67: High school entails stupid things such as spending half of your life reading a book you hate.
Reason 68: It never fails that the one time you...
